Biography

Tomas graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College with a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, and went on to complete his Master of Science in Physiology and Medical Doctorate at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He gained extensive experience in both clinical and laboratory research to supplement his training, and is currently completing orthopaedic surgery residency at Loyola. Following residency, he will pursue fellowship training in the field of orthopaedic trauma at Washington University St Louis. Tomas has particular interests in the surgical treatment of periarticular, pelvis and acetabulum, and periprosthetic fractures, as well as nonunion, malunion, and deformity correction.
